Digipack Research:

Pop Music
Front

The front cover features only the main artist which allows for her image to be conveyed to the audience. She is looking away for the audience and to the ceiling this maybe conveys her to be a dreaming towards being a average girl rather an intense artist. The casual and loose text also conveys her quirky songs and image whilst the colour white helps keep it simple. The background is the simple colour grey, which allows the focus to be solely on the artist.

Back
The artist is feathered again on the back on the cover, her pose is that which catches the audiences eyes as she is showing sex appeal and looking directly at the camera. The grey background is also followed through to the back of the digipack which makes it flow nicely. The colour theme of the text is pink and black, making the text simple and easy to read. The positioning of the text fits very nicely and doesnt take any attention off the picture.

Heavy Rock

Front
The digipack uses a black background, a dark colour that bears sinister connotations that is heavily related with rock music. This album cover featuring only the logo of the band, which helps promote the artists as a brand. This album cover could be seen as
Back
offensive/controversial as album covers of this genre have similar features for example, Guns, fire and skulls.

The back of the digipack uses the colours Red is the color of fire and blood, so it is associated with war, danger, strength and power and Black is associated with death, evil, and mystery. The Picture of the band at the bottom of the digipack symbolises togetherness of the group in order to satisfy the audience.

Blues Rock

Front

Back
The colours used in the front cover are Light blue which is associated with health, healing, tranquility, understanding, and softness and Black is associated with power, elegance, and mystery. These colours work well together as they provide a relaxed environment and tone.

This cover contrasts with the artists songs as the songs because we feel that the cover is very cold however his songs are of a warm nature.

We find the white writing on the black background very effective as it  makes the cover look powerful. The picture of the artist on his own shows him as a confident, sophisticated, musical and lyrical man.
