The first music video broadcasted on MTV was "Video Killed the Radio Star" by the Buggles,
written by Trevor Horn, Geoff Downes and Bruce Woolley in 1978. The video was launched August 1, 1981.
At the time, if artists did make videos, they were usually just scenes of the band performing a song,therefore this video was a totally different to what views had seen before.
